Improvements continue
to make the UWHM5K a greener race. Starting this
year, water and Powerade will be served in
biodegradable, compostable
cups
rather than plastic bottles,
at
the finish line. Biodegradable, compostable cups will be used at water stops again this year.
Also new this year is a
reusable runner bag.
