100% OF THE PROFITS
benefit Wood Lake Nature Center's environmental-education program with the Richfield Public Schools, a partnership that began in 1972.
START LINE/FINISH LINE
Moisture-wicking, quick-drying fabric with chafe-resistant flat seams and a UPF40 barrier from UV rays. Distributed at the finish line area.
CARBON CAPTURE GARDEN
$1 of each registration funds the purchase and planting of hardwood rain forest trees at the Santa Familia Primary School in Belize, to offset the event's carbon footprint.
The certified half-marathon course is flat, circular, and passes through shaded neighborhoods, past several parks and through three natural areas. The 5K course features a lap around Taft Lake.
The Minnesota Pacers are back! Set a goal time, then run near the pacer carrying a sign with that time.
Available at packet pickup and on race day: quarter-zip pullovers-$40; hats-$15; pint glasses-$7.50 each (or four for $25), and past-year race shirts ($4). Also available at Wood Lake Nature Center during regular business days/hours after the race.
Our mission is to present a running event of the highest quality, that is both environmentally-sustainable and profitable for Wood Lake Nature Center.
